Three Sixteen Technologies Limited Warranty Policy
Warranty Protection You Can Rely On
Three Sixteen Technologies stands behind the quality and workmanship of its products. Our limited warranties provide clearly defined protection against qualifying defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use.
Warranty coverage varies by product and component type. This policy explains the applicable warranty periods, what is covered, what is excluded, how to submit a claim, and the remedies available for an approved warranty claim.
1. Warranty Overview
This Limited Warranty Policy applies to eligible Three Sixteen Technologies products purchased directly from Three Sixteen Technologies or through an authorized seller.
Coverage applies only to qualifying defects in original materials and workmanship that arise during normal, intended use within the applicable warranty period.
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by normal wear, accidents, misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification, external conditions, incompatible equipment, or any other excluded condition described in this policy.
This policy does not replace or modify the Three Sixteen Technologies Shipping & Freight Policy, any applicable Return Policy, approved quote, invoice, purchase order, or separately signed written agreement unless expressly stated in writing.
Product registration is not required to obtain warranty service. Proof of purchase may be required.

3. Meaning of Lifetime Limited Warranty
“Lifetime Limited Warranty” means coverage for the original primary structural steel frame for as long as the original purchaser or original purchasing organization owns the original product, or an authorized replacement provided under this warranty, and the product remains in its intended service.
Coverage ends when the product is:
Sold or transferred to another owner
Donated or permanently reassigned to another organization
Permanently retired from service
Abandoned or disposed of
“Lifetime” does not refer to the lifetime of the purchaser.
Lifetime structural coverage applies only to qualifying defects in original materials and workmanship affecting the primary load-bearing steel frame.
Lifetime structural coverage does not include:
Paint or powder-coated finishes
Cosmetic surfaces
Doors, shelves, dividers, handles, locks, casters, or removable components
Dents, scratches, fading, discoloration, or surface wear
Corrosion caused by moisture, chemicals, improper storage, or environmental exposure
Structural damage caused by impact, overloading, misuse, improper transportation, or unauthorized modification
When an identical product or structural component is no longer available, Three Sixteen Technologies may provide a compatible component, reasonably equivalent product, credit, refund, or other appropriate remedy.
An authorized replacement does not begin a new Lifetime Limited Warranty. It remains subject to the original lifetime warranty term.

9. Who Is Covered
This Limited Warranty applies to the original end-user purchaser or original purchasing organization identified on the applicable Three Sixteen Technologies invoice, receipt, or authorized seller documentation.
A person or organization purchasing products for resale is not considered the original end-user purchaser.
Coverage is not transferable through resale, donation, reassignment, liquidation, or other transfer unless Three Sixteen Technologies approves the transfer in writing.
Proof of purchase may be required for all warranty claims.
10. When Warranty Coverage Begins
Warranty coverage begins on the original documented purchase date shown on the applicable invoice, receipt, or authorized seller documentation.
When acceptable proof of purchase is unavailable, Three Sixteen Technologies may use its documented shipment or delivery date to determine the warranty start date.
Any repaired or replacement product or component remains covered for:
The remainder of the original applicable warranty period; or
90 days from the date the repaired or replacement item is delivered
whichever period is longer.
A repair or replacement does not restart the original warranty or create a new full warranty period.
For products with Lifetime Limited Warranty coverage, an authorized replacement remains subject to the original lifetime term and does not create a separate or renewed lifetime warranty.
11. What This Limited Warranty Covers
Subject to the terms of this policy, Three Sixteen Technologies warrants that eligible products will be free from qualifying defects in original materials and workmanship under normal, intended use during the applicable warranty period.
A qualifying defect is a covered product or component failure that results from original materials or workmanship and is not caused by an excluded event, condition, installation, use, or external source.
A product is not considered defective solely because:
A newer or updated model becomes available
The product’s appearance changes through normal use
Minor variations exist in texture, finish, dimensions, or color
The product operates differently with unsupported equipment
Performance is affected by external networks, software, electrical service, environmental conditions, or third-party devices
A cosmetic condition does not affect the product’s intended operation
12. Available Warranty Remedies
After evaluating an eligible claim, Three Sixteen Technologies may, at its discretion:
Provide troubleshooting instructions
Repair the covered product or component
Provide an authorized replacement component
Replace the product with the same model
Replace the product with a reasonably equivalent model
Issue an appropriate credit or refund when repair or replacement is not commercially practical
Replacement products or components may be new, refurbished, recertified, remanufactured, or functionally equivalent.
A replacement product may differ in color, appearance, dimensions, materials, features, or specifications when the original model is discontinued or unavailable.
The remedy selected by Three Sixteen Technologies will satisfy the company’s obligation under this Limited Warranty, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Any refund or credit will not exceed the original documented purchase price paid for the affected product, after applicable discounts. Original shipping, expedited delivery, installation, labor, special services, taxes, and other charges are excluded unless required by law or approved in writing.
When a refund or full credit is accepted as the final warranty remedy, coverage for the affected product ends.
13. Warranty Claim Requirements
Customers must contact Three Sixteen Technologies before returning a product, obtaining repairs, replacing components, or incurring labor or service expenses.
A warranty claim should include:
Customer or organization name
Contact name
Telephone number and email address
Order, invoice, or purchase-order number
Product name, model, and SKU
Serial number, when applicable
Original purchase date
Date the issue was discovered
Detailed description of the issue
Photographs or video showing the issue
Troubleshooting steps already completed
Current product location
Delivery address for approved replacement components
Additional information reasonably requested during the evaluation
Claims should be submitted promptly after the issue is discovered and before the applicable warranty period expires.
Failure to provide sufficient documentation may delay the evaluation of a claim.
14. Warranty Claim Process
Step 1: Contact Warranty Support
Contact Three Sixteen Technologies by email or telephone and provide the available claim information.
Step 2: Initial Evaluation
Our team may review photographs, videos, product information, electrical conditions, installation details, device compatibility, maintenance history, and troubleshooting results.
Step 3: Troubleshooting
The customer may be asked to complete reasonable troubleshooting or diagnostic steps before a warranty determination is made.
Step 4: Warranty Determination
Three Sixteen Technologies will determine whether the reported issue qualifies for warranty coverage and identify the appropriate remedy.
Step 5: Written Authorization
When a return, repair, replacement, or outside service is approved, the customer will receive written instructions and, when applicable, a Return Merchandise Authorization number.
Do not return a product, hire a repair provider, or incur warranty-related expenses without prior written authorization from Three Sixteen Technologies.
15. Return Merchandise Authorization
Products returned without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization may be refused, returned to the sender, or subject to additional shipping, handling, storage, or processing charges.
A Return Merchandise Authorization may identify:
The product or component approved for return
The authorized shipping destination
Packaging requirements
The authorized shipping method
The applicable claim or RMA number
Any approved labor or service
Responsibility for transportation costs
The deadline for completing the authorized return
Issuing a Return Merchandise Authorization does not guarantee final warranty approval. Returned products and components may be inspected and tested before the claim is completed.
Products must be packaged according to the provided instructions. Three Sixteen Technologies is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate or improper return packaging.
16. Shipping Responsibilities for Warranty Claims
Parcel-Size Products
Unless Three Sixteen Technologies provides a prepaid shipping label or authorizes another arrangement in writing, the customer is responsible for securely packaging and shipping the affected product to the authorized service location.
For an approved parcel-size warranty claim, Three Sixteen Technologies will pay standard ground shipping to return the repaired or replacement product or component to the original delivery destination within the contiguous United States.
When a claim is not approved, the customer may be responsible for return shipping and any diagnostic, handling, or transportation charges disclosed before the product is returned.
Expedited shipping and optional delivery services are not included unless expressly authorized in writing.
Large or Freight Products
Charging cabinets, charging carts, ChargeTower units, mobile display stands, and other large products will normally be evaluated through remote troubleshooting and authorized replacement components whenever reasonably practical.
For an approved large-product warranty claim, Three Sixteen Technologies will pay standard ground shipping for authorized replacement components to the original delivery destination within the contiguous United States.
Transportation or return of an entire large or freight product is covered only when expressly authorized in writing by Three Sixteen Technologies before shipment.
Warranty coverage does not automatically include:
On-site labor
Product removal or disassembly
Reinstallation
Packaging or palletization
Full-unit freight transportation
Liftgate service
Inside delivery
White-glove service
Delivery appointments
Storage
Redelivery
Detention
Special handling
Freight accessorial charges
These expenses are covered only when specifically authorized in writing before they are incurred.
Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico
For approved claims involving Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, Three Sixteen Technologies may cover transportation costs up to the amount that would have applied for standard ground delivery within the contiguous United States.
Additional transportation, remote-area, transfer, air, ocean, special-service, or accessorial costs may be the customer’s responsibility unless approved in writing or required by applicable law.
17. Labor and Outside Repair Services
Customers must obtain written approval before hiring a technician, installer, electrician, repair company, or other service provider for work expected to be paid or reimbursed under this Limited Warranty.
Unauthorized labor, diagnostic charges, travel expenses, installation expenses, and repair costs will not be reimbursed.
Three Sixteen Technologies may:
Provide replacement components for customer installation
Provide technical instructions
Approve a qualified local service provider
Require the product or component to be returned
Arrange another reasonable remedy
The use of a third-party component or repair service does not automatically void the entire warranty. However, defects or damage caused by improper service, incompatible parts, incorrect installation, or unauthorized modification are not covered. FTC guidance distinguishes prohibited blanket restrictions from exclusions for damage actually caused by third-party parts or services.
18. General Warranty Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage, failure, or deterioration resulting from:
Normal wear and tear
Cosmetic wear that does not affect intended operation
Accidents, drops, impact, crushing, collision, or tip-over

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage to computers, tablets, phones, displays, furniture, data, software, networks, electrical systems, or other property used with or near a Three Sixteen Technologies product.
19. Shipping Damage
Damage that occurs during transportation is not considered a manufacturing warranty defect.
Shipping shortages, visible damage, concealed freight damage, and carrier loss are handled under the Three Sixteen Technologies Shipping & Freight Policy.
Customers must inspect shipments, document visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt, retain all products and packaging, and report transportation damage within the deadlines stated in the Shipping & Freight Policy.
20. Consumable, Replaceable, and Wear Components
Items subject to regular handling, movement, wear, or replacement may have shorter warranty periods than the primary product.
These items may include:
Caster wheels
External power cords
Charging cables
Ear cushions
Fabric closures
Keys
Removable dividers
USB dongles
Pouches
Unlocking bases
Locking accessories
Other detachable components

Loss, cosmetic wear, and normal deterioration are not considered manufacturing defects.
21. Product Changes and Discontinued Models
Three Sixteen Technologies may modify product designs, materials, components, features, specifications, and models without being required to make the same changes to products previously manufactured or sold.
When the original product or component is discontinued or unavailable, Three Sixteen Technologies may provide:
A compatible replacement component
A refurbished or recertified component
A functionally equivalent product
An appropriate credit or refund
Reasonable differences in color, appearance, dimensions, features, materials, or specifications do not make an equivalent replacement defective.
22. No Unauthorized Warranty Commitments
No employee, representative, reseller, service provider, distributor, contractor, or other party may modify, expand, or extend this Limited Warranty unless the change is authorized in writing by an authorized representative of Three Sixteen Technologies.
Informal statements, sales discussions, demonstrations, estimates, marketing descriptions, and verbal assurances do not create additional warranty obligations.
Product-specific written terms appearing on an approved quote, invoice, or signed agreement may supplement this policy. When a direct conflict exists, the more specific authorized written term will control for that transaction.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Three Sixteen Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from a product defect, product failure, delayed repair, delayed replacement, loss of use, lost data, lost revenue, business interruption, substitute equipment, or related expenses.
Three Sixteen Technologies’ total liability under this Limited Warranty will not exceed the original documented purchase price paid for the affected product, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
24. Implied Warranties and State-Law Rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties applicable to the covered product, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the applicable written warranty period stated in this policy.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited. Written warranties can affect how implied warranties may be limited, and state-law treatment can vary.
25. Policy Updates
The warranty terms in effect on the original documented purchase date will apply to the covered product.
Three Sixteen Technologies may update this policy for future purchases. A revised policy will not retroactively reduce the warranty coverage that applied when an eligible product was originally purchased.
The effective date shown at the top of this page identifies the current policy version.
